Collaboris have recently launched a new Learning Redources Centre containing updated and improved user guides for our flagship product - DocRead.

Collaboris are very proud to annouce that the SharePoint 2007 & 2010 Users Group on LinkedIn.com now contains over 18,000 members. The group receives over 300 new members each week and can be used to discuss anything to do with SharePoint. As the chance to view the Aurora Borealis/Northern Lights has me peering out of the windows like an excited child looking for Santa, I decided their appearance was a sign to issue another newsletter! With the Thanksgiving holidays fast approaching we thought it would be appropriate to feature people and items we are thankful for! There are some great ideas and if you haven't already checked them out and benefitted from the learning on offer, then we've shown them again this week in the featured discussion. Our fabulous Movember men whose hairy updates are keeping smiles on our faces! We know there are many more of you out there than we can feature and to all of you we say we think you're fan-tash-tic! Alexey Shcherbachev for letting us know about his great FREE product which we've included as this weeks 'Cool Tool' and Jason Firth who accepted our 'spotlight' focus. This week saw our group reach a staggering 15,000 members! Judi Minnerly from Virginia became our 15,000th member this week and is featured in our "LinkedIn The Spotlight" section. This weeks Cool Tool is the SharePoint Learning Kit and we found a great article giving tips on how to make your SharePoint Search Shine! As it's been 'Back to School' week for many children, the 'Best of Blogs' section focusses on Dave Coleman and his SharePointEduTech blogs.

Well it only seems like 5 minutes since we were publishing Newsletter #33 - what a busy week this has been! Anyway, in this edition, we have changed the format around a little and given you more featured sites from around the web. On Monday 1st August 2011, Collaboris launched their early adopter programme for DocRead. The programme is open to organisations that use SharePoint extensively for document collaboration and would benefit from using DocRead for ensuring that important organisation policies and compliance documents are read, tracked and recorded.

Now the Bribery Act is in full swing within the UK, it's started to claim it's first victims! Willis insurance has just been fined nearly £7 million pounds for failing to adequately comply with the Bribery Act laws.

Collaboris - developers of DocRead for SharePoint - have recently launched a brand new Bribery Act information portal to help organisations with their Bribery Act compliance. The portal highlights how easily DocRead can be used to distribute Bribery Act guidelines to groups of employees and other associated parties. The portal also contains background information on the Bribery Act as well as further guidance on the types of policies and procedures that are generally required, to help form an adequate defense against corrupt bribery practices.

On Friday, Collaboris announced the launch of their brand new web site (http://www.collaboris.co.uk). The web site has had a serious make-over with a much improved navigation system. The launch also co-incides with the launch of DocRead, a SharePoint reading compliance product, that allows users to read and acknowledge that they agree with the contents of a document.

Collaboris is currently working with a number of Law firms to support their clients with Bribery Act Compliance using document reading software DocRead.
