• New Features in SharePoint 2010

  I have spent quite a bit of time lately surfing the net for the latest news/rumours about SharePoint 2010 and whats likely to be in it. Hence, here's my list so far.

  • SharePoint 2010 will be supported on Firefox, Safari and the iPhone.
  • Beta will be in the 3rd quarter and RTM will be early next year.
  • Silverlight will be used in SharePoint 2010 - possibly to deliver a media player 
  • Support for JQuery
  • Native PDF & ODF (the Office 2007 file formats) support
  • 64bit Only

  • SQL tables-like behaviour for SharePoint lists!!!
